My favorite home health caregiver was so great and gave me many tips about getting back to physical health. She went above and beyond!
You guys were such an amazing team!! You guys made my family and I feel safe and explained things in a way for us to easily understand how to care for my wife. Our home health aide treated my wife with respect, went above and beyond each time she was here, and always made sure she was comfortable and happy before she left.
I would like to thank the staff and our nurse — she always kept me informed with what was going on with my mother and what else to expect. That helped me and my daughter not be afraid of what we were experiencing, and I really appreciated all the care and dignity that was given.
We are so grateful for the care that was provided. They were very thorough with their care, empathy and communication. Our nurse took her time to problem solve what was going on with my mom medically and communicated with the doctor the entire time.
The hospice team that I had for my father's last days of life were amazing, so calm, and professional. Each one of them explained clearly all our questions. If I put in a call for the nurse, I got a response in a timely manner. Even equipment was brought in a timely manner as well as all the meds.
My family and I would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The hospice care was awesome and what we needed at the time. The care for my mom was extraordinary and the team was always there for us. All questions, concerns and comments were addressed to our understanding.
Our visiting nurse was very, very good! She communicated well with me, kept me updated. She treated my sister very well! She's compassionate and caring!
I want to thank the team for being caring, thorough, and prompt when it came to my mom's care. Kaiser did an amazing job at instructing her caregivers, spending quality time with her, assessing her needs and changing condition, and keeping me informed. I knew she was in the best care.
The overall experience my siblings and I and my father had was excellent. This hospice was our first experience and we were always well informed about our mother's symptoms, and what to expect. We were extremely impressed with all the nurses' professionalism and conversations.
My husband chose to have end of life care because he did not want to spend his last days in the hospital. The hospice nurses were very caring and offered helpful suggestions on what I could do to help him at night. I could have never done all this on my own and I am happy that his wishes to die at home were taken into consideration and respected by all who worked with us.
Extraordinary care from the team doctor, case manager, nurses, bathing person, social worker, and music therapist. A special group of people. I am so grateful that this service was available to us, and allowed my wife to pass with loving care, pain free. Hospice allowed her to die at home, which was her expressed wish.
The members of hospice care saved me. Without their help I don't know how I would have been able to take care of my husband. Their support was a tremendous help to myself and my entire family.
The staff were always so kind & caring. They listened & answered all my questions. I felt heard even though I felt very vulnerable. I was grateful to have this service. It made a big difference in my recovery.
My physical therapist was very helpful with my physical therapy, he explained everything clearly, he went above and beyond. The nurse did really good taking the staples off, and gave me really good advice on how to take care of my wound.
The entire hospice team was amazing! This was the worst time in our lives and we were treated as family! We are thankful for their guidance!
Each and every person who visited with my mother was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and professional. I'd also like to acknowledge how meaningful it was to have the physician involved with home visits. His bedside manner, assurances and help with pain management were critical to my mom's comfort.
They were exceptional. At first I was reluctant of having my wife be placed in hospice. Kaiser hospice answered all my concerns and eased my apprehensions. I am very grateful to all the members of Kaiser Palliative and Hospice Care. They are truly remarkable during this most difficult phase.

The nurse that initiated hospice in home was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about my husband's condition and what I should expect. I had no clue; he had me practice how to respond. This team knew what I needed to know, and made sure I was informed and treated us with compassion and high respect.
The care from your team was the best one could ask for. The continuity of having basically the same nurses and home health aides was so appreciated. The concerns we had were well addressed and very understandable. I know my dad felt especially comfortable with the staff.
My hospice crew was amazing. I call them angels on earth. So helpful, caring, knowledgeable and conscientious about caring for my husband and me also. Help was always only a phone call away and no question was ignored or considered stupid.
The hospice team became our second family, we relied on them so much. We became fast friends, they called us Aunty and Uncle. We got to know each other personally — about our families, interests. I am thankful for all the help and support given during our hard times. Whoever inherited our team is one lucky patient!
The physical therapy followed a knee replacement surgery. It was very helpful and all the staff who came were very compassionate and kind. I truly looked forward to their visits.

The hospice team that took care of my husband was always very supportive to both me and my husband. It's not always easy being a caregiver. It always seemed that our hospice team cared as much about me as they did my dear husband. They were all angels in our time of need.
The hospice care team we were assigned to were top notch. From the doctor, nurses, social worker and pastor. They were the most caring individuals. They even arranged the Japanese interpreter that we always use for clinic visits to come with the hospice nurse to her home visits.
My therapist showed up on my 4th day after surgery and smoothly ran PT. I was short in temper and extremely sore but his patience and care helped me through that day. For the next two weeks I progressed due to his efforts, techniques and cheerleading.
My physical therapist was very helpful and gave me great suggestions for making my home safer to prevent falls. He also provided written instructions for exercises I could do.

Nurses treated me with respect and helped me understand all medications and side effects. Great program to help people with issues and travel is not an option.
Had three different people that came to the house. They were very compassionate and willing to listen to my concerns. Had several great ideas to help improve my mobility.
When my mom decided to be put on hospice, I wasn't real sure what it truly meant. It was one of the most beautiful moments I have ever shared with my mom. I thank your team for their support and educating us on how to comfort my mom. My main objective was her dignity.
Everyone from hospice was very caring and respectful, including him always in the conversation about his care. Our aide gave myself and my daughter invaluable information about what we might see or notice when his death was near. I believe because of this we were by his side as he took his last breath. This gave us immeasurable comfort.
The Kaiser hospice care team gave my husband the utmost attention, compassion and care during his final journey. I would like to commend and thank them for an excellent job. They made his life comfortable and peaceful. They're the best.

Hospice was wonderful and had arranged for a hospital bed and needed equipment to be delivered and set up before he arrived home. They were so kind and caring and showed my adult child how to physically manage him. He was kept totally pain free and died peacefully.
When my sister was needing a credible qualified team to allay her concerns and fears during the last stages of her journey, you took her fears away and allowed her to embrace her transition. I am grateful that you enabled her to pass with grace, dignity and confidence.
